An error occurred while saving the comment Mike Hardbarger commentedHaving been a company driver an now an O/O I see both sides of this situation. Company drivers are sometimes abused with the reset rule, especially with family events. With an optional RESET trigger after the 34, company drivers might have more control regarding their home and personal time with their families. However, after 168 hrs of service and then 34 off this may be automatic and not an option.

This would not slow the program down. Computers are designed to calculate. You Flag "Arrive Home" And you Flag "Leave Home". At Tax time you search any appropriate year for days out. The program then calculates instantly how many days at home and how many days out.
I hate to go thru my logbook page by page each year to search home time.
This is so important to me I'm seriously thinking of changing programs even if this program is free for me through my company.
