For what it's worth, there is an Adobe PDF app called "Cute PDF". Essentially, it uses PDF as a "printer". I print the logs, useing "Cute PDF" as the printer name. This creates a pdf file, which I can then use as attachment, file for record purposes.... This gives me my own back-up copy... Neat thing, though, is that it doesn't require ink or paper, and frankly, it's faster.
