In essence allow the auto calculation to occur by either determining that when a driver is off duty/sleeper berth for 10 hours that it knows the driver it is calculating the logs for is not actually driving at that time and only go after the start of day to end of day for that drivers time (more specifically for drivers that drive at night because it really messes with them)

Even possibly a tool to allow the driver who is attempting to calculate his logs to highlight the hours they were not in fact running so the program completely ignores the miles that driver did not run, similar to the line drawing function that you can do to draw backwards or fowards.
