Yes Larryboy it is quite easy to print or fax anything from a smartphone or Tablet.
I have been waiting for an app for a tablet. I am actually waiting to purchase a tablet for the main purpose of logging with Eclipse.
At the moment I have a smartphone that runs Ice Cream Sandwich, obviously it does not run Windows programs. There are a few Tablets that do run Windows but they are like driving a VW compared to a Rolls Royce, such as using an Ipad.
As an example: I receive a pdf of a contract confirmation for a "run" (I am a pilot car steer man for the wind energy tower blades and haul RV's during the opposite season) which I can view and edit on my smartphone. When the "run" is complete I fill in the forms edit and sign them using the Adobe Reader X App on the phone! Then I use the MetroFax app and fax it to the company. I never see any paper until later when I arrive at a motel, or wherever, I then print the documents.
It would be so nice to be able to similar with the Eclipse log book.

come on guys, nobody has made a good app for logbook, your program rocks, please hurry and get one out. I am sick of packing my laptop around for my logbook, would rather pack my tablet instead. all tablets have the ability to print through either wifi or bluetooth printer, except (ie) kindle fire. lol, please hurry.

I am losing hope of appe for eclips. I have found and tested app called bigroad. Looks good. Is free. You have our devotion to Eclipse . I asks do we have any hope soon? What I have liked about eclipse is the speed a simple way it works. But we are seeing other people building apps. The windows side of computers are dieing withe me . Ever thing about Droid is so smooth. the new windows 8 is weak . I have been testing it and I am not impressed with it at all . Windows 8 has a long way to go. This is my opinion. I have retired my 3 computers and have two new tablets that . I have a 7 inch and a 10.1 and love them. I am almost 63 years old and I have found Droid easy on any Droid system. Thanks Bill

My company company still requires me to hand write my logs. I will use to check logs to stay legal.

This Is a NO BRAINER
Lets get going and get up to speed here folks! The Eclipse App will (is) going to be gone if they don't get a smart phone app soon!!
It is the way to go. I have been asking for months now. I will be changing very soon to an App I can use on my smart phone if Eclipse refuses to stay current with technology!!
This should not even be in the wishlist it should already be available!! -

@LarryBoy.
Your job title should dictate that you know what you can and cannot do on a Tablet or Smartphone. your earlier comment about printing issues does not instill confidence that you know what you are doing.
Even us dumb truck drivers can figure this out.
Still waiting for the Android version......... and waiting........ and waiting....... -

Self explanatory. The convenience of being able to use a phone or Tablet to run this program should speak for itself.
Eclipse could, would and /or should greatly increase its sales if it offered a Phone and /or Tablet version! Can you say WIN WIN?
Guess not. At least right now -

We have to print logs to be strictly legal, and we worry about printing on Android. Would you want to use the program simply to check hours (and you'd still hand-create logs), or can you print from Android phones?
